We debuted at Surtex in 2012. I remember how excited, anxious and overwhelmed we felt. We were filled with an endless amount of questions and doubts about all the decision we needed to make. Are you already experiencing this?

 You are a starting out artist, yet you already have a basic clear vision and self-awareness of your skills, brand, style and goals

 You have a website setup and your relevant social media accounts (specially Instagram) active. You know Shine isn’t your source to help you with the technical part of your online presence. We are here to make what you have shine!

 This is your first time exhibiting at a licensing trade show in New York City. Or you have exhibited before under an agent and now you are ready to go on your own.

 You already understand te basics of the licensing world and the surface pattern design world.

 You are not looking for this program to teach you and help you with photoshop and illustrator,

I’ve known from an early age that I wanted to be a designer. As a child, I would draw, paint, and make stationery sets and stickers for people to keep. Graphic Design was a new career in Venezuela when I started college, but I embraced the program as if it were created just for me.

I have that same level of certainty as a photographer. Years ago, I developed a passion for playing with light, from the beginning of the image making process through the final editing stages. Exercising my eye for image seeking is such a great creative catalyst for me and an extension of my love for design. As designer, photographer and art licensing professional with two years experience exhibiting at Surtex, I can design photographs for you that capture the beauty in this journey in ways that you might not see for yourself.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

-What if I’m not going to Surtex, can you help me get ready for a different Trade Show?

Yes we can. However keep in mind that we have never exhibited in another show beside Surtex. We believe our techniques, strategies and experience can serve you for any show in the industry but we don’t offer our SHINE PACKAGE for another show than Surtex because we offer to help you with the booth and many details than involve us knowing how the show is run. You can still get the individual modules and those will definitely coach you for Blueprint and the Vegas Licensing Show (except for our booth module)

-I will be going to Surtex in 2018 not this year. Do you think is still worth it to take the Shine modules?

Yes! and you will be way ahead of the game. Probably by the time you exhibit you will have a couple of licensing deals already, which is ideal!

-Can I have a coaching session with you before I purchase a module or the Shine package?

Of course, that will be ideal as well because you will get a better feeling about how well we could work together.

-When does the program start?

The SHINE PACKAGE (the one that includes all modules) starts January 3rd. You will be able to schedule your first coaching call that week. If you are purchasing individual modules they start the first Monday of the corresponding month, yet you can purchase a month or two early.

-How much time would I need to invest in learning every week?

The SHINE program is about coaching you. Not so much about a set curriculum that you will study and learn. Through our coaching sessions you will find guidance and a team player with experience in doing exactly what you are about to embark to do. You will definitely need to set time apart for this big Trade Show project but it will be mainly time to get your art done and meet deadlines. You will be learning as you go through the experience.
